Chef Martin Maginley Shines at Condé Nast Traveller’s Chefs’ World Series Event in London

Round Hill Executive Chef Martin Maginley recently participated in the Condé Nast Traveller’s “Chefs’ World Series: A Jamaican feast in London” where he prepared a sensational five-course feast alongside Chef Christopher Golding of Half Moon hotel. Guests were treated to the flavors of Jamaica, complete with Appleton rum cocktails and an upscale yet casual island vibe.

As Executive Chef at Jamaica’s Round Hill Hotel and Villas, Martin Ian Maginley is known for his playful cooking, creating fusion dishes such as jerk-chicken spring rolls. He was joined by chef Christopher Golding, whose farm-to-table approach at the Half Moon hotel’s Sugar Mill restaurant in Montego Bay has earned him a cult following.

The Chefs’ World Series brings top kitchen talents to London, creating not-to-be-missed feasts with global twists. This was the third event in the series and was held at Rudie’s, a hip Stoke Newington restaurant that has become the city’s go-to joint for finger-licking jerk chicken and totally tropical rum cocktails.
