As the world reopens and travelers pack their bags, Round Hill Hotel and Villas is thrilled to unveil its brand-new ‘Summer for All’ programming. Designed for every type of traveler, from adventure seeking multigenerational families to couples looking for a romantic island getaway, Round Hill has created a diverse mix of locally inspired activities, offers, experiences, and packages to suit every guest’s dream vacation.
Below are full details on Round Hill’s newly created Summer for All programming including its new Family Summer Camp package as well as adventure, culture, romance, wellbeing, and sea focused Jamaican experiences, with an experienced photographer available to capture it all.
Family Summer Camp
In the style of a luxury family summer camp, Round Hill offers families fun ways to bond and create lasting memories with engaging and educational activities highlighting the traditions of Jamaica. Young guests will play authentic Jamaican children’s games and make local inspired crafts, take Patois Class where they will learn to speak the colorful native dialect of Jamaica, learn about the evolution of reggae music at Reggae Dance Class, and explore the property’s most interesting natural and historic locations on a guided property tour. Families can end the week together, by sitting around a Cast Away Bonfire.
Summer of Adventure
Guests can explore and learn about the island of Jamaica both on and off the property. Round Hill has collated some of the island’s must-do experiences to create a truly authentic adventure. Participants can jump aboard a hand-crafted 30-foot bamboo raft piloted by a certified expert captain, and learn about the history of the land and the lifestyle culture of historic Jamaica on the Lethe Reggae Bamboo Rafting experience. Included with this ‘limo on the river’ experience is a ‘Lethe village classic’ in the form of a limestone foot rub, fresh coconut, and either a bottle of prosecco or cold Red Stripe beers. Guests can also experience the beautiful countryside of Jamaica on a guided Horseback Ride & Swim, and Chukka Jungle Ziplining and Safari Expedition.
Summer of Culture
This summer, guests can immerse themselves in the exciting heritage, culture, and lifestyle of authentic Jamaica during their stay at Round Hill by taking part in some of the island’s most interesting culture tours and experiences. Culture lovers can visit one of Jamaica’s oldest sugar plantations and magnificent venues as part of a Bellefield Great House Tour and Rum Sampling, walk through the tropical Ahhh Ras Natango Garden & Gallery exhibiting work by resident self-taught and formally trained artists, Ras Natango, Tamika and Ayale, explore the colonial ruins of Rosehall Great House, and get the real taste of Jamaica at local eatery Scotchie’s Montego Bay.
Summer of Wellbeing
Guests are invited to disconnect from technology and become one with nature as they awaken their senses through sight, smell, taste, and fitness. Round Hill’s special seasonal Wellbeing Package includes one 50-minute spa treatment, one private yoga session or fitness boot camp with a specialized trainer, a guided fitness session along the property’s Jogging Trail or Heritage Tour, or one tennis lesson with an in-house tennis pro. The package also includes an educational juicing session with Round Hill’s award-winning chef where guests will learn about the health benefits of local fruits and how to incorporate them into a lifestyle routine, along with a private beachfront picnic lunch with specially crafted health-conscious menu options.
